Brierley J are working alongside a healthcare provider who operate across Northumberland. They are looking to expand their team with the addition of a Head of Programme Management Office.
Reporting into the Deputy Director, the Head of PMO will be responsible for developing a strategy for the PMO to support the organisations five year estate plan. This includes implementing the strategy and ensuring targets are met.
Responsibilities can include:
- Design, implement and manage the PMO strategy that is innovative to drive best practice, ensuring it adheres to national standards.
- To sit on larger, more complex projects to ensure they are delivered successfully under the correct governance and corporate policies.
- The ensure the PMO team is working the high standards and monitoring budgets for the department.
- Directly controlling the governance for all projects across the organisation.
- Identifying and reporting to board any improvement initiatives to improve procedures within the organisation.
The individual coming in will already be operating a Senior Project Management level and can demonstrate working on large complex projects, have strong people management skills and have specialist knowledge of governance and risk management.
